FolkTech AI builds privacy-first, local-first AI products. We create apps like Serena (virtual AI assistant), Jake (home safety), and .ftai (open source format), designed to work offline, on-device, and without selling your data.

🔐 Do your apps require an internet connection?

 No, the only internet access that is required is for updates.​

🧬 What makes our AI different?

Our AI systems use a protocol called .ftai — a structured, human-readable format that powers agentic workflows. It turns files, memory, voice, and decision-making into a unified system. This means our AI doesn’t just “chat” — it runs your tools, analyzes files, and executes real-world tasks.

📱 What platforms are supported?

Currently:

💰 Are your apps free?

Most apps come with a free trial, then offer either:

  • Subscription pricing (monthly/yearly)

  • Educational or agency licensing

We don’t sell your data. Period. All apps encrypt your info and store it locally. For cloud-based sync (optional), we use zero-knowledge methods and private object storage — never ad-based servers.
